Text Box: *Community needs* Each year we select a project to enhance life in our Community, Below is a list of our current recipients: Guiding Eyes for the Blind Vacation Camp for the Blind Joslin Camp for Boys with diabetes Clara Barton Camp for Girls with diabetes. 2 Scholarships to High school students who excel in volunteering Meals on Wheels Town of Armonk: Police Department: Scuba Gear Jaws of Life for Protective vest for Police Dog Emergency Van donation 2005 Fol de Rol Police High school seniors program Fire Department Defibrillator EMS Ambulance Defibrillator for Comman Hill elementary school Wampus Park: Gazebo Bridge at Park entrance Upgrade of electricity in park Donated four seats at Whippoorwill Hall, the town theater Numerous donations through Lions International Foundation. Annually we have a Grants Committee meeting at which time we review requests . These requests are submitted through an application form, informing us as to the needed funds and the purpose for those funds. We have an inventory of wheelchairs, crutches and other health aids for community use We support the Risk Watch Program through the Armonk Recreation Department Donated to Ehrman Pool defibrillator and Diving Board Annual $1000.00 to Lions International for Melvin Jones award Grants committee meets and makes recommendations to the Armonk Lions board
